Custom Web Pack Overview - Empower Your Workforce

SapphireOne maintains a single version of our source code, ensuring that all clients have access to new features and functionality enhancements commissioned by any client. However, there may be cases where a client requests bespoke functionality to streamline their operations, which will only be available to that specific client as it involves highly tailored or a replicated subset of features. If new features are found to benefit all clients, they will be made accessible in the regular Web Pack at a later time.

The Custom Web Pack is the designated location for all of this functionality, typically catering to the specific needs of non-admin staff. This functionality may include for example, inventory-related tasks like packing, picking, distribution, printing, and reporting, or payroll/HR related functions. The functionality provided in the Custom Web Pack may be simple in appearance, as that effectively meets the specific client’s needs.

In the following directories, we will showcase implementations of the Custom Web Pack which are provided as they may be beneficial to assess for future implementations commissioned by other clients. A description of these example implementations is provided to follow.

Custom Web Pack Examples

  • Example-1 This custom Web Pack was designed to meet warehouse needs, including picking, packing, and MOVEit integration. The Apple iPad serves as the interface, allowing for access from multiple locations.
  • Example-2 Covers various aspects of your organisation needs, including inventory management, reporting, financials, warehouse map generator, debtor and client management, as well as warehouse operations such as picking, checking, and vehicle fleet management. The use of the multiple devices (iPad, Desktops) as the interface also offers flexibility and accessibility from multiple locations, which can be a significant advantage for your organisation.
