Pacific Commerce Import Orders Overview

The Sapphire Pacific Commerce Import Orders tool enables the SapphireOne user to directly import orders from their Pacific Commerce EDI Electronica Data Interchange. This gives the SapphireOne user the ability to efficiently manage all purchase orders from the Sales Transactions inquiry screen.

Pacific Commerce is an Australian-owned eCommerce and secure business-to-business, electronic document exchange (EDI) services provider. Any organisation can trade electronically through a Pacific Commerce EDI exchange. EDI or Electronic Data Interchange is the virtual exchange of data or business documents in electronic format between trading partners.

This exchange of documents is generally between buyer and supplier and consists of transferring purchase orders, invoices, payments, shipping notices and various other documents and by nature eliminates paper trails, improves operational efficiency and enhances virtual exchanges with new trading partners. With EDI, any company can virtually interact with another organisation anywhere in the world without the hassle of waiting times and forecasting future procedures.

For example, you may own an eCommerce store and are required to process the orders you have received for the day, week, month, etc. The SapphireOne user can utilise the Pacific Commerce Import Orders tool to import all purchase orders directly into SapphireOne. This is an extremely efficient tool in managing sales transactions and keeping a record of each purchase order within your SapphireOne data file.
