The Sapphire Create Periodic Invoice tool enables the SapphireOne user to create an invoice on a periodic basis for clients who make recurring payments. This gives the SapphireOne user the ability to merge multiple invoices into a single invoice for a client.

SapphireOne’s Periodic invoicing streamlines the management and processing transactions for clients who make payments on a recurring basis. Recurring payment terms for clients are classified as period based and the multiple purchases made for the same inventory items could occur daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc.

For example, you may be a wine wholesaler and have multiple clients that regularly purchase wines from you. They may purchase different varieties e.g. Merlot, Pinot Noir, Malbec, etc. in varying amounts on a regular basis i.e. weekly, to keep their inventory levels supplied. To streamline the management of processing transactions, the SapphireOne user can utilise the Create Periodic Invoice tool to merge multiple invoices generated from the particular time period, in this case one month, and process it as one payment.
