Payroll Tax Overview

The Payroll Tax function within SapphireOne Management Mode calculates and displays Payroll Tax accruals for any time period selected by the user. The Payroll Tax function will provide totals of the amount spent on transactions such as Wages/Salaries, Superannuation, Fringe Benefits, Contractor Payments, Termination Payments, Directors Fees, Allowances, Commissions, Apprentice Wages and provide a calculation of your Total Tax Payable based on these figures.

  • Company – SapphireOne will automatically display the Company that the user is logged into.
  • Date From – Enter your chosen date range.
  • Date To – Enter your chosen date range.
  • Registration Number – Enter your company Registration Number.
  • ABN – Enter your Company ABN.
  • Wages/Salaries – This calculates your total Wages/Salaries for the selected time frame.
  • Superannuation – This calculates your total Superannuation for the selected time frame.
  • Fringe Benefits – This calculates your total Fringe Benefits for the selected time frame.
  • Contractor Payments – This calculates your total Contractor Payments for the selected time frame.
  • Termination Payments – This calculates your total Termination Payments for the selected time frame.
  • Directors Fees – This calculates your total Directors Fees for the selected time frame.
  • Allowances – This calculates your total Allowances for the selected time frame.
  • Commission – This calculates your total Commission for the selected time frame.
  • Apprentice Wages – This calculates your total Apprentice Wages for the selected time frame.
  • Shares – This calculates your total Shares for the selected time frame.
  • Taxable Wages – This calculates your total Taxable Wages for the selected time frame.
  • PayRoll Tax Rate – This is your PayRoll Tax Rate.
  • PayRoll Tax Threshold – This is your PayRoll Tax Threshold.
  • Tax Payable – SapphireOne will calculate your total Tax Payable based on the above calculations.
  • Export Breakdown Button – Select the Export Breakdown button to recalculate the report when new dates are entered.
  • Close Button – Select the Close button to close the screen.
  • Export Button – Select the Export button to export your report to an external report format of choice, such as Excel or CSV.
  • Print Button – Select the Print button to Print your Report.
