Page Menu Overview

When we execute a Client Inquiry by highlighting and then electing to Look at or Modify a Client there are additional screens or pages available, so the Page menu is now displayed on the left hand side of the main SapphireOne toolbar enabling you to select these additional screens or pages. 

For other functions within SapphireOne the individual items on the Page menu will alter as required. Foe the first two, Details and More Details will be displayed in a majority of records and transactions.

Note that when using the Page menu, you do not close most of these additional Pages or screens, to get to another Page or screen. Step through them by clicking on the Page menu and then making your new selection directly from the page drop down menu. 

However, a number of the items on the menu open as a pop up screen with the original page still visible in the background and active if selected. In this case you may close the newly opened pop up screen in the normal manner. 

This pop up must be closed by selecting either the Close button appropriate to the operating platform as required.

The page menu is not displayed when a List of records or transactions is on screen or the item is very limited for the amount of data that is required to be stored. 

An example would be when an Inventory Class is being Looked at, Modified or Created New. In the screen shot below the page menu is not required so it is not displayed on the main toolbar.

Because of the complexities of some functions there is a requirement to have more than one page of data entry fields for the function.

Page Menu items

The Page Menu can be used to either view or enter further data that is part of the Transaction or record. 

For a Client Invoice, a brief synopsis of the information that each page contains is detailed in the table below. 

Details:  This Page contains information about whom the Quote, Order or Invoice is for. Also where to mail it or deliver it to, and all other data required for tracking the Invoice. This section contains the data called from the Inventory file, detailing orders, backorders and delivery. It is also used for updating sales analysis statistics. 
More Details:  This Page holds any descriptive text that is specific to the Quote, Order or Invoice. Under Transaction Details you will find the credit terms including date due and early payment discount details. Provision is also made for the insertion of footer details, a message field and there is also a section for recording the Payment Details. 
Custom:  This Page holds all the customisable Field headings for the header part of the Order \ Invoice and all the line items. 
Current Balances: This Page display in a Line or Pie chart the Clients Balances. It also displays aged balances going back 12, 24 or 36 months as selected by the user.
FX Balances: When a Client or Vendor is trading in an FX currency their FX balances will be displayed in this page. Transactions will have their type list as Normal, CI, CR etc but will have USD apended to them to indicate that they are in USD.
Credit Control: This page is designed for on line Credit Control allowing notes and alarms to be set for reminders. Highlighting a transaction brings up the allocations linked to it and this allows viewing of the data in more detail.
Terms: The Terms page is the main Credit Control Screen allowing you to set payment terms and credit limits for each individual Client.
Transactions: The Transactions page shows details of the current transactions including Dates, References, Totals and Transaction types. It also shows whether or not the transaction has been posted in the Posted status column.
History: This page shows details of all Current and Historical transactions for the selected, Client.
Sales Analysis: This page displays Sales Analysis for the selected, Client. The display is in both graphical as a Column or a Pie chart and numerical formats are able to be selected.
Sales: This page by default only shows transactions entered through the Sales menu in Inventory Mode for the current period for the selected,
Keywords & Notes: Use Keywords to help with a personal search criterion. Once a keyword is entered you can do queries on Clients (through the Client Inquiry screen) searching for a particular keyword.
Address: This page shows you the information pertaining to the address of a particular Client. It allows you to have more than one address for the Client.
Price Book: This page will display any price book entries for this Client.
Period Balances: This page displays the balances period by period for this Client as at the period end. It also displays the turnover for the current month.
Standing Sales: This page will display any Standing Sales set up for this client.
Job Project: This page will display any Job Projects that the client has been linked to.
Email Log: This page will display a log of any emails sent to or received from this Client
Rating: This page display the current rating for this Client
Action: This page or function provides you with a diary function including reminder functionality. 
Documents: This page or function allows any type of file to be saved and stored as part of the data file. 
Digital Assets: This page or function provides you with the ability to view any documents or files stored for this client.
