Details Overview

The Job Analysis report within the SapphireOne Job Projects Mode provides a comprehensive overview of all Vendor accounts within the users SapphireOne data file.

When the Job Analysis report is selected from the Job Projects Menu, SapphireOne will present a print dialog screen for the user to select and customise the criteria and data they would like included within all of the Job Analysis Reports that are available.

Print Destination Menu

The Print Destination Popup Menu allows the user to choose the destination for the Report, and select from the options which include Printer, Custom Report, Quick Report and Labels.

Printer Tells SapphireOne to send the report straight to the Printer. 
Custom Report This allows the user to create a custom designed report. Once the custom report has been created, the user will then be able to use the Custom Report option from the Print Destination menu. 
Quick Report Selecting this option will open the Sapphire Quick Report function. 
Labels Selecting this option will open the Sapphire Label Design Report Editor, allowing the user to design Labels as required. Labels can be designed and printed on sheets or rolls of paper.

Report Type Menu

Selecting the Report Type Popup Menu option will enable the user to print different layout styles of the Details Report.

Job Project Profit – Month:For the month to date this report displays the profit for the month for the project. SapphireOne calculates the costs and charges that have gone against the project for the month. From these figures it is able to display the profit and margin for the project or in the last column.
Profit – TTD: As above but displays the Total to Date for the project or projects.
Job Project Profit – QuoteThis report adds up all charges fro the project to date and compares it to the Quote for the project. Using these figures a profit or loss figure for the project is calculated as well as the calculating the margin for the project which is displayed in the last column
Job Project Profit – FullAs above but with additional details
Transaction TotalsThis report displays for each project the transactions total for Vendors, Cash, Clients and any adjustments
Estimate Charges:This report displays two items. The first three columns display the Estimated Cost and charge from which a margin is calculated. The last three columns display the quote, Profit or los on the quote and the margin.
Full Details:This report display full details for each project on a separate page.
Time – Month:This report display Time based costs for the project for the Month To Date
Time – TTD:This report displays Time based costs for the projects Total To Date.
Internal Costing:This report displays internal costing for the project. It totals charges, Direct Costs, In-Direct Costs and Profit.
Full CostingThis display full details for each project including the general ledger account values us for the Job Project as well. This will be a multi page report for each and every Job Project and may take SapphireOne some time to generate it.
Analysis 2This report displays the expected and actual charges for all items in each Job Project on a page by page basis.

Report Sort Order Menu

The Report Sort Order Menu allows the user to select from various sorting methods and criteria to organise data in different sequences while still maintaining the same fundamental report format. The user can sort data by:

No SortThis will display the Details Report in the order they are displayed
By ID This will order the order of the data by inventory ID.
By UDF 1This will order the Details Report by UDF 1.
By UDF 2This will order the Details Report by UDF 2.
By ClassThis will sort the order of the data by inventory Class.

Report Selection Menu

Open Project
All Records This will display all inventory items, including inactive items.

Report Buttons

Print ButtonSelect this to Print the Report.
Cancel ButtonSelect this to Cancel the Report.
Record List ButtonSelecting this button brings up a list of all inventory items within the users SapphireOne data file. The user can then use the ‘command/F’ and ‘ctrl/F’ search function to search for the inventory item to be printed.
Options ButtonThe Options Button allows for even further customisation of the Report. Further details are outlined below.
Queue ButtonSelecting this button will put the report in a Queue, allowing the user to select the time and day for the report to run and print.
Background ButtonSelecting this button allows the user to run the report in the background of the SapphireOne server, allowing the user to continue with other tasks while the report is generating.

The user also has the option to create custom reports using SapphireOne Quick Reports or Custom Reports.
