Asset Management Report Overview

The Asset Management report within the SapphireOne Assets mode allows the printing of reports designed to assist in the control and tracking of your assets during various events that occur in the life of an asset. 

When the Asset Managementn report is selected from the Assets Menu, SapphireOne will present a print dialog screen for the user to select and customise the criteria and data they would like included within the report.

Report Type Menu

Selecting the Report Type Menu option will enable the user to print different layout styles of the Details Report.

RepairAsset report showing when items are due for repair or due back from repair.
ServiceAsset report showing when items are due for service or due back from service.
LoanAsset report showing when items were loaned or due back.
WarrantyAsset report showing the warranty for assets
InsuranceAsset report showing when items insurance is due.
Next ServiceAsset report showing when items are next due for service or due back from service.

Report Sort Order Menu

The Report Sort Order Menu allows the user to select from various sorting methods and criteria to organise data in different sequences while still maintaining the same fundamental report format. The user can sort data by:

No SortThis will display the Report in the order they are displayed
By ID This will sort by the Asset ID.
By NameThis will sort by the Asset name.
By Class AThis will sort by the Assets Class A.
By Class BThis will sort by the Assets Class B.
By Class A & LocationThis will sort by the Assets Class A and then its Location.
By Class B & LocationThis will sort by the Assets Class B and then its Location.
By LocationThis will sort by the Assets location.
By Class A & Class BThis will sort by Assets Class A and then Class B.
By Class B & Class AThis will sort by the Assets Class B and then Class A.
By CompanyThis will sort by the Assets Company.

Report Selection Menu

Next 30 DaysThis filters the actions required on the assets for the next 30 days.
This MonthThis filters the actions required on assets to this month only
Next 7 DaysThis filters the actions required on assets for the next 7 days.
TodayThis filters the actions required on assets today.
Last 30 daysThis filters the actions required on assets for the last 30 days.

Report Buttons

Print ButtonSelect this to Print the Report.
Cancel ButtonSelect this to Cancel the Report.
Record List ButtonSelecting this button brings up a list of all inventory items within the users SapphireOne data file. The user can then use the ‘command/F’ and ‘ctrl/F’ search function to search for the inventory item to be printed.
Options ButtonThe Options Button allows for even further customisation of the Report. Further details are outlined below.
Queue ButtonSelecting this button will put the report in a Queue, allowing the user to select the time and day for the report to run and print.
Background ButtonSelecting this button allows the user to run the report in the background of the SapphireOne server, allowing the user to continue with other tasks while the report is generating.

The user also has the option to create custom reports using SapphireOne Quick Reports or Custom Reports.
